Planning Gigs & Stage Logistics

The Gigs & Live Stage module bridges your rehearsed repertoire with live execution. Manage upcoming tour dates, festival slots, load-in schedules, gear checklists, and historical gig archives in one unified stage dashboard.

Accessing Gigs & Live Stage

  1. Open the Navigation Drawer (☰) and tap Gigs & Live Stage.
  2. The view displays active and upcoming performances, filterable via tabs:
    • [Upcoming Shows]: Future dates sequenced chronologically.
    • [Archived]: Past gigs and historical setlists.
  3. Shows whose calendar dates have passed automatically display an amber "Past" badge, with a 1-click Archive action to keep your active schedule uncluttered.

Creating a New Gig & Starter Presets

Tap + New Gig in the action bar to open the gig configuration dialog:

  • Venue Name & Date: e.g. The Troubadour, 2026-11-14.
  • Custom Title (Optional): e.g. Album Release Tour — Night 1. If omitted, BandRoom automatically formats the title as [Venue] - [Date].
  • Starter Presets: Scaffold your setlist in seconds:
    • Blank: Starts with an empty setlist ready for custom track curation.
    • 1-Set Festival: Pre-populates with a single "Set 1" header; ideal for tight 30–60 minute club and festival slots.
    • 2-Set Show with Break: Pre-populates "Set 1", "Set 2" with a 15-minute intermission, and an "Encore" block.

Stage Logistics & Crew Schedule

Expand the Logistics & Schedule card to track crucial day-of-show milestones:

[ Load-In: 17:00 ] ➔ [ Soundcheck: 18:30 ] ➔ [ Doors: 20:00 ] ➔ [ Stage: 21:30 ] ➔ [ Curfew: 23:00 ]
  • Load-In Time: When the band van arrives at the venue loading dock.
  • Soundcheck Window: Assigned engineer soundcheck time.
  • Stage Call Time: When the first note must be struck.
  • Venue Curfew: Hard legal sound cutoff enforced by the venue or local council.
  • Promoter & Engineer Contacts: Phone numbers and names for venue staff and front-of-house (FOH) engineers.
  • Backline Gear Memos: Track amps, drum kits, pedalboards, DI boxes, and special cabling requirements.

1-Click Gig Duplication & Archiving

  • Clone Setlist (Duplicate): Playing the same 18-song set at a new venue next weekend? Tap "Duplicate Gig" on any show card to carry forward all song orders, set breaks, and stage cues with one tap.
  • Archiving Past Shows: Archive completed gigs to preserve an immutable record of songs played, runtimes, and venue notes without cluttering your upcoming dashboard.

Run your band from rehearsal room to center stage. Zero telemetry, pure client-side privacy.
